My interest in genealogy and family history grew from my own experience searching for answers about my adoption and biological family. What began as a personal journey developed into a lasting passion for uncovering family connections, exploring historical records, and understanding the stories behind them.

I’ve been involved in genealogical and related research since 2001, with interests that include adoption history, DNA genealogy, public records, and historical missing-person and cold-case research.

Through Perez Trace & Discovery, I hope to help others find meaningful information about their own family histories and unanswered questions.

I believe thoughtful research requires patience, attention to detail, reliable documentation, and respect for the people involved. Every record is a piece of a larger story, and understanding what the evidence does—and does not—establish is an important part of that process.
